After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Pretoria in 1998, Dr Prinsloo joined the staff of Tshwane Academic Hospital in 2002 initially as a medical officer working in the department of medical microbiology and then as a registrar in 2003. During his post graduate studies he also worked as a clinical research fellow at the Royal Free Hospital in London UK.
Dr Smit started as a Microbiologist at Lancet Laboratories in Johannesburg in 2005 and became the Pathologist in Charge of the Microbiology Department in Richmond in 2011. She is also a partner at Lancet Laboratories.
Dr Keshree Pillay joined Lancet Laboratories in 2008 as a clinical microbiologist. She presently heads the Mycobacteriology laboratory at Lancet Laboratories’ head office. Her clinical interests include mycobacteriology, infection control and antimicrobial stewardship.
Dr Barnetson joined the Pretoria (Pencardia) practice as an associate in 2010, having spent 10 years in the United Kingdom where he specialised. He has been based in Pretoria ever since and became head of the Pretoria anatomical pathology department in 2015, he was admitted to the partnership in 2018.
Dr Anil Bramdev started the anatomical pathology unit in KZN in 1988 with then Pillay, Mackintosh and Partners which has subsequently merged to form Lancet Laboratories. The department has grown steadily over the years to become the biggest anatomical path service provider in KZN with a Pathology staff compliment of 15 and processing 100 000 surgical specimens annually. Dr Anil Bramdev is also a former Lancet Laboratories board member and is the current secretary of the KZN Specialist Network which has a membership of approximately 400 private medical specialists in KZN. He also sits on the national health ministerial advisory board.

Dr. Mabitsela S.Mahlakwane is a partner at Lancet laboratories. Joined Lancet laboratories in 2011 as a Histopathologist and appointed to a regional Pathologist post at Limpopo Province since 2013 to current.
Dr Beavon joined Lancet Laboratories in 2001 from the South African Institute for Medical Research. He became a partner in 2008 and his interests include Gynaecological and Pancreaticobiliary pathology and Cytology. Dr Beavon served on the Johannesburg General Hospital Gynaecological Oncology Group for several years and he is a member of the East Rand Multi Speciality Oncology Board.

Dr Aspeling joined Lancet Laboratory in September 2007 as an associate and became a partner in 2021. Her field is Anatomical Pathology and interests include Haematolymphoid and breast pathology. She oversees the Cytology department in Pretoria and is as a regional pathologist also involved with the marketing activities.
Dr Holland joined Lancet Laboratories in 2010 as a haematologist and is based at Lancet Corner in Richmond, Johannesburg. She works closely with the molecular laboratory, advising on molecular haematology. In 2018 she became a partner at Lancet Laboratories.
Dr Naidu joined Lancet Laboratories in 2008 as a Chemical Pathologist.
His undergraduate studies were undertaken at the then University of Natal, and his specialist degree was obtained in 1998 from The Colleges of Medicine of South Africa.
Having spent many years in Clinical General Practice, Dr Naidu has a strong clinical bent, which allows him to view and interpret laboratory medicine from a uniquely clinical perspective. He is particularly passionate about patient care and putting the needs of the patient first.
His special interests include Diabetes and Endocrinology. He is a regular speaker on Pathophysiology and also the Interpretation of Laboratory Tests at various CME events.
Dr Rambau re-joined Lancet Laboratories in September 2003 with the acquisition of IPS (Independent Pathology Services). He currently works as Autolab Administrative Head and Lancet Laboratories Regional Pathologist in Mafikeng.
He has been a Pathologist in charge of Quality(QA) Department, Operational Quality Division and previously headed SHEQ Department (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality).
He pioneered the introduction of Third Party IQC for chemistries and Endocrinology which has facilitated the introduction of Quality Specifications for consistency in measurements across time and geography objective.
He is currently a member of SANAS STC (SANAS Specialist Technical Committee).

Prof Vardas is a partner and her speciality is Clinical Virology. She started with Lancet Laboratories in August 2010 in charge of Allergy, Immunology and Infectious Disease Serology and now also head of Virology at Lancet Laboratories.
Dr Soldin joined Lancet Laboratories in September 1995 and has been here ever since. He is a Regional Pathologist responsible for the East Rand and is based at the Glynnwood Hospital in Benoni.
His interests include infectious diseases, haematology, and teaching.
He was instrumental in the opening of Lancet Laboratories in Emalahleni, Trichardt, Middelburg, Mulbarton and Thembisa.
