I graduated with an MBChB from the University of KwaZulu Natal (UKZN) in 2003.I completed an MSc in Cytopathology from the University of Stellenbosch in 2014. I trained in Cytopathology at WITS University and the National Health Laboratory Service, where I have worked for the past 17 years. I was involved in the academic programme including involvement in academic presentations at various conferences. I was involved in medical technologist training in preparation for the board exams and registrar training in the department of anatomical pathology during the cytology rotation. I was a lecturer at WITS. I have been an affiliate of the University of Stellenbosch and WITS, where I was involved in supervising postgraduate research. External examiner of postgraduate research.
