Lan User (Local Network / Business PC) You might be connected to the Internet on a larger "business" network. If this is the case then your network administrator will have some kind of hardware firewall and/or proxy server in place that will control your web page requests. You will need the assistance of your network administrator to set up proxy server details, username and password to allow you to connect to the public Internet. You can do this yourself if you have the right information, namely:

Step 1 – Check your Windows Personal Firewall settings To check your Windows Personal Firewall just use the following steps on your PC or Laptop: Go to Start , then select Settings , then select Control Panel and then select Windows Firewall . You then need to select the Exceptions tab and then check that the Pathviewer software is on your list of Allowed Programs and there is a tick in the box. If it is not ticked you must tick the box and if it is not listed you must add it to the list using the Add Program button. Remember to tick the box next to the application .

:: REGISTER A USER :: 1. Open Pathviewer by left double-clicking on the desktop icon 2. Configure the application to run as the server instance(download and view reports) or a client instance (view reports only)
3. Create an admin user for the system – Application will close.
4. Open Pathviewer again. 5. Login using the admin user that you have just created in step 3 6. Register yourself as a User by : filling in your details in the required fields on the Enrol page (click on Importer/Enrol User – download reports/Enrol) and then clicking “Enrol” at the bottom of the page (Requires a connection to the Internet) 7. Lancet staff will complete the enrolment process and activate you to receive reports through Pathviewer. This can take up tp 24 hours depending on time of enrolment.

Go online, click Receive -> Get Reports and your reports will be automatically downloaded into Pathviewer
